The county town of Woodstock is just to the North of the university City of Oxford, Many day tours depart from London for Oxford & Shakespeare's Stratford upon Avon stopping off en route at Woodstock & nearby Blenhiem Palace, birthplace of Winston Churchill and now home to the Duke of Marlborough,

Woodstock is a historic town, well over one thousand years old with many fine buildings. For instance Chaucer's House & Cottage & Cromwell's House.
